When I think of the 90’s …
I am reminded of Janet Jackson. Of course she was around for ages before the 90’s, but the 90’s introduced us to sext janet … and dayum … girl worked it. She got in incredible shape and upped the music video direction/production.

When I think of the 90’s … I remember this gem. Jane Child. Absolutely mad hair, abundant accessories, a great mouth and one big hit that won’t go away. Love it!
Note-to-self: The 90’s really did have something to do with my obsession with arm/wrist paraphernalia.

… Urban Dance Squad. A purist might say I’m cheating because this Dutch band originally released this song in 1989. However, I don’t remember it until the 90’s. It didn’t reach number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 until March 1991 and stayed on the charts for 18 weeks.

When I think of the 90’s …
… OK, so this is new. It’s from a damn funny show airing on IFC called, “Portlandia.” Apparently, they remember the 90’s too. “Portland is where young people go to retire.” “The dream of the 90’s is alive in Portland.” “All the hot girls wear glasses, yeah!”
